Oakland Raiders Have a Solid Day Three
The Oakland Raiders have been the butt of many jokes around the NFL when it comes to draft day decisions but this year Oakland addressed many needs. Oakland drafted well on Day three, picking up a player they discussed taking in the first round, Bruce Campbell the offensive tackle out of Maryland in the fourth round. Oakland also traded their fourth or fifth round NFL Draft pick in 2011 to the Washington Redskins for quarterback Jason Campbell. The trade of Campbell to Oakland will muddy the already confusing quarterback situation in Oakland. Bruce Gradkowski was expected to start over faltering former first round NFL Draft bust, JaMarcus Russell.
Jason Campbell comes to Oakland after losing his job to veteran Donovan McNabb after Washington traded with their bitter rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Jason Campbell can fit in with the Raider style of football, stretching the field with more accuracy than JaMarcus Russell. Jason Campbell in an interview with Rich Eisen of the NFL Network said, "I feel like I’m going there to be the starter."
Will JaMarcus Russell be an Oakland Raider on the opening weekend of the NFL season? According to the NFL Network’s Mike Lombardi, "Russell is set to be paid 9.5 million dollars in 2010 but if they cut him before the season they only have to pay him 3.5 million dollars. Based on those numbers if Russell does not renegotiate his contract downward he will most likely be released."
Oakland’s first NFL Draft pick of day three Bruce Campbell.
Bruce Campbell was the star of the NFL Combine as an offensive tackle. During the NFL Channel coverage of Bruce Campbell he was given the name "Workout Warrior" by the NFL Channel staff. Campbell has raw talent but is rough around the edges. Oakland was expected to draft Campbell with the eighth pick overall but Oakland was patient and waited until the fourth round on day three to get their man.
One plus in taking the pure athletic talent in Bruce Campbell is coach Tom Cable. As a former offensive line coach Tom Cable could be the best thing to happen to Campbell, as he develops into a starting offensive tackle in the NFL. Campbell will most likely be rotated in and out of the Oakland line up early in the season and then once the season progresses, Campbell should be starting.
Oakland’s second NFL Draft pick of day three Jacoby Ford.
Jacoby Ford is a speedy wide receiver out of Clemson and the competitive SEC. With the acquisition of Jason Campbell, Oakland will have some lightning fast receivers to run the deep post. Just one question, can any of them catch? Ford was a standout at the Senior Bowl and may have caught the Wholesale Jerseys eye of Oakland’s scouting staff during that week.
Ford was not rated very high on most NFL Mock Draft’s but that doesn’t always mean that much. He will have a fellow Clemson teammate to cover him during practice also. Ford will not start but look for him to shifted in and out of the game to stretch the field and wear down opposing cornerbacks.
Oakland’s third NFL Draft pick on day www.supermercadosusa.com three Walter McFadden.
Oakland loves to confuse the media, so why not take another McFadden in the NFL Draft. Walter McFadden is no Darren McFadden but he is Cheap NFL Jerseys a standout from an SEC school. Walter McFadden is a solid cover corner out of Clemson and will be a nice compliment to Nnamdi Asomugha when he makes his way into the Oakland line up.
The down side of McFadden is that he is not known as physical corner and isn’t much help coming up and stopping the run. The hope will be that Asomugha can stoke McFadden’s fire and teach him how to get more physical. When McFadden does play opposite Asomugha, he will have plenty of balls thrown in his direction. The rest is up to McFadden to prove he belongs in the NFL.
Oakland’s fourth NFL Draft pick on day three Travis Goethel.
Oakland traded linebacker Kirk Morrison to Carolina shortly after they drafted Rolondo McLain with the eighth overall pick. Now late in the sixth round they pick up a workable back up for McLain in Travis Goethel. a linebacker out of Arizona State.
Goethel is another defensive player that Oakland adds with a tremendous nose for the ball. Goethel is not afraid of contact but doesn’t always deliver the mos bone jarring hits. Look for Goethel to star on special teams and fill in as needed at the linebacker position.
Oakland’s fifth and final NFL Draft pick on day three Jeremy Ware.
Jeremy Ware , another defensive back for Oakland as their last pick. Ware will no doubt be used as a special teams player and will add depth for Oakland in the secondary. Ware won Michigan State’s President award an award for perseverance so he should be a strong character addition. Ware graduated in December showing that he was not only attending Michigan State for football.
Ware is not afraid to get involved in the tackling game, racking up three tackles for a loss and two sacks from the secondary. Ware will most likely not start and it will be a challenge for him to take the field on opening day as a member of the Oakland roster. His perseverance will be tested in his first NFL training camp.
Overall with the Kirk Morrison and Jason Campbell trades, the Oakland Raiders have shown they are going to try to shake the negative image of the last few years. Oakland’s new philosophy is much like the same old Raider philosophy.

NFL Rules Derek Carr Black Jersey Penalties
The least severe NFL rule violations result in 5 yard penalties. These include encroachment or offsides, defensive holding, false start, ineligible receiver down field and running into the kicker. Five yard penalties are also enforced for things that happen before the ball is snapped. They include delay of nflraidersofficial.com/Nike-Dave-Casper-Jersey.html game, illegal formation, illegal motion, illegal shift, illegal substitution and neutral zone infraction. A team can also be penalized 5 yards for having more than 11 players on the field or fewer than 7 players on the offensive line.
Several NFL rule violations result in the offense losing a down or automatically gaining a first down. The offense loses 5 yards and a down if a forward pass is thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. The offense also loses a down for intentional grounding of the football in addition to the yardage penalty. An automatic first down is awarded to the offense for all defensive penalties with exception of encroachment, neutral zone violation, delay of game, too many players on the field, running into the kicker and illegal substitution.
The other team has the option to decline a penalty. This is pretending the violation never occurred and allowing the play to stand. The opposing team will do this when the result of the play is to the penalized Johnny Manziel Elite Jersey team’s disadvantage. For example, it may be better for the defense to allow an offensive play that resulted in a loss to stand even though there was a holding penalty on the offense. If the defense took the penalty, the offense would get another chance at the play. By declining the penalty, the defense forces the offense to lose a down.

NFL Football
For 17 Sundays of the year you can sit and watch what seems like an infinite variety of NFL games, pregame shows, postgame shows, and give yourself the excuse to get totally wasted.
Totally fucking hammered wasted, I tell you. Seriously, if you don’t put down at least a case of beer, a bottle of Khalil Mack Kids Jersey Dr. McGillicuddy’s, and whatever your wife/fianc /girlfriend has leftover from the last time she hosted "ladies night", then you’re a pussy.
Also, for 17 Sundays out of the year you have a legitimate reason to ban your wife and daughters from the home for at least 10 hours. It doesn’t matter if there’s a blizzard Khalil Mack Jersey and a zombie apocalypse going on, they’re out on the street to fend for themselves.
If you’re a man and you don’t know what a "safety" is, then you’re gay.
Very, very gay.
When football season comes around, which is like Blake Bortles Women Jersey Christmas to some people, that entitles you to pull out the old jersey to wear to every casual Friday at work, hang the team flag off the house, and be proud of the mob you represent. Seriously, a mob is "a disorderly or riotous crowd of people". For 17 Sundays out of the year you can go to nearest NFL football stadium and make a complete ass out of yourself and no one will care or do anything about it. You may get the occasional goody two shoes couple who just finished their croquet game sitting directly above you that will complain about your repulsive behavior. But that’s when you just turn around, flip ’em the ol’ bird, and call them a twat stick for talkin’ about you behind your back, literally.
So back to the mob. What else do you do when you’re in a mob? You drink. You drink like there’s no tomorrow. And "drink" as in the consumption of alcohol. No H2O in this plan, Bobby Boucher. In a study performed by the Beer Institute, the average person consumed 21.7 gallons of beer last year. What do we do when we go to a football stadium? We drink beer, except for those twat sticks mentioned before. So could these two things be related?. Nah, I didn’t think so either.
Professional football games are also a good time to practice on your flirting skills. If you totally mess up and accidentally call a hot, suicidal girl ugly and unimportant, then don’t worry. Not like you’re going to see her again anyways.
And ladies, if a man buys you a beer at a football game, consider it a down payment for www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Lance-Briggs-Jersey.html child support.
Watching NFL www.officialbrownsfootball.com/WOMENS-JOHNNY-MANZIEL-JERSEY.html Games on Television
What point would there be to have a televised football game without commercials? Between the forty second clips of actual football action you’ve got to have something to keep the people at home occupied. So why not throw in some commercials that may or may not have anything to do with those watching to make the folks laugh?
Commercial tip: Get some hot women to wrestle each other and your product will sell. Does not matter what the product is, it could be a giraffe pooper scooper, doesn’t matter. You gotta remember Blake Bortles Kids Jersey who you’re advertising to here. Men who watch football are either single with little to no sex life or married with little to no sex life. So how else can they get that excitement and the adrenaline going? This is how:
Beer + Hot women fighting in a fountain that conveniently just happen to be there when the fight occurred some of their clothing during the fight = Success, all the men are racing to the nearest liquor store that has a fountain somewhere nearby.
As surprising as it may be (and make sure to brace yourself for this one). some women like to watch football too. And no, not only the ones that only wear t shirts and jeans with super short haircuts and have never touched a make up bag in their life, but straight women as well. I know, it’s a strange concept. Perhaps as strange as a dog and an elephant being friends, but it’s possible.
Most Touchdown Passes in a NFL Season
The following is a list of the quarterbacks who have thrown the most touchdown passes in a single NFL season. As you will see from this list, most of the quarterbacks on it still active. So this is a very fluid list. With the NFL being pass happy these days, this record could easily be broken this season, or in the near future.
Most Touchdown Passes in a NFL Season by a Quarterback
Tom Brady of the New England Patriots holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a season with 50. Brady threw 50 touchdown passes during the 2007 season, when he led the Patriots to a perfect 16 0 regular season record.
The 50 touchdown passes obviously led the NFL in 2007, and Tom Brady also led the league that season in passing yards (4,806), and average passing yards per game (330.4). Despite the record for most touchdown passes in a season and the perfect regular season record, the New England Patriots were upset in Super Bowl XLII by the New York Giants, 17 14.
2. Peyton Manning (2004) 49
When Peyton Manning threw 49 touchdown passes during the 2004 NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts, he set the then record for most TDs in a season. Robbie Gould Jersey Manning’s record would last for just three seasons until Tom Brady broke it in 2007.
Peyton Manning holds the record for most touchdown passes in a single NFL game (tied with five others).
3. Dan Marino (1984) 48
When Dan Marino threw 48 touchdown passes during the 1984 NFL season for the Miami Dolphins, he not only set the then NFL record for most TD passes in a season, but many pundits at the time said the record would never be broken. Marino’s record would last for 20 years.
4. Drew Brees (2011) Jared Allen Jersey 46
Drew Brees threw 46 touchdowns during the 2011 season, when he led the www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Lance-Briggs-Jersey.html New Orleans Saints to a 13 3 record. Despite the great record, the Saints were only seeded third that year in the playoffs, and they lost at San Francisco in the second round by a score of 36 32. Brees did throw for 462 yards in that playoff game.
5. Aaron Rodgers (2011) 45
Aaron Rodgers Robbie Gould Youth Jersey threw 45 touchdown passes during the 2011 season, leading the Green Bay Packers to a 15 1 regular season record. Despite the great record, the Packers were upset in the playoffs in 2011 by the 9 7 New York Giants, who would go on to win the Super Bowl that season.
6. Dan Marino (1986) 44
Two years after setting the then NFL record for most touchdown passes in a season with 48 in 1984, Dan Marino Jared Allen Youth Jersey came back and threw for 46 TDs in 1986. Dan Marino was a great NFL quarterback, but his failure to win a Super Bowl is a glaring blemish on his record.
7. Drew Brees (2012) giantsofficialnflonline.com/Nike-Trumaine-Mcbride-Jersey.html 43
Drew Brees threw 43 touchdown passes during the 2012 season, which led the NFL for the second consecutive season. Despite all the TD passes, the Saints finished just 7 9 in 2012.
T 8. Kurt Warner (1999) 41
Kurt Warner threw 41 touchdown passes during the 1999 season, when he led the St. Louis Rams to their first Super Bowl win.
T 8. Matthew Stafford (2011) 41
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw 41 touchdown passes during the 2011 season. Stafford led the Lions to a 10 6 record and a playoff appearance that season, but the Lions were beaten by the Saints in the first round. Madden NFL 11 http://www.nflbearsofficial.com/Nike-Robbie-Gould-Jersey.html Review X360
Madden NFL 11 gets pretty much everything right. The presentation, the feature Matt Forte Jersey set, the gameplay this is the best NFL game on Xbox 360. We’ve actually kind of been down on Madden the last couple of years for presentation and gameplay balancing issues, but Madden 11 solves all of that. It is an amazing game for both the hardcore and casual football fan that we highly recommend. Find out all of the details here in our full review.
Game Details Publisher: EA Sports Developer: EA Tiburon ESRB Rating: for Everyone Genre: Football Pros: Great presentation; plenty of modes; balanced gameplay; GameFlow Cons: Commentary lags behind action; main SP modes didn’t see much work As far as features go, Madden 11 has plenty to do. The Franchise and Superstar modes haven’t been touched at all, but they are still good. You also get Mini Games with a bunch of training exercises, and a new set of Madden Moments taken from the 2009 season to try and re create. Ultimate Team is a sort of collectible card game where you start off with a set of player cards and then use those players to build a team and then take them to the field. You start off with a bunch of third stringers, but as you play you earn coins that let you buy new cards to make your team better. It is pretty cool and surprisingly addictive. Online modes include everything you’d expect. Online Franchise, like its offline brother, hasn’t seen much work. New this year is Online Team Play where three players make up a team where each person controls a specific group on the field (QB/RB/WR on offense or LB/DL/DB on defense). This gives the person controlling a group objectives specific to that group to take care of in order to help the whole team win. It has been simplified and streamlined, and the difficulty has been better balanced. One complaint I had last year was that the game moved so far into simulation and hardcore player territory that it wasn’t accessible for casuals and regular fans. That, thankfully, has been remedied here. This is easily the most accessible football game yet. Whether you want an easy game where you can score at will or a hardcore simulation where you fight for every yard, this game has both thanks to multiple difficulty settings and CPU skill sliders to play with. The play on the field has seen some improvement as well. blocking is actually really good now, so running the ball can be really effective. There is also a new right stick body control that makes slipping through the line and spinning out of tackles better than ever. I’m also happy to see sideline catch animations included so your receivers will drag their toes and do other things to try to stay in bounds. In years past receivers would just barrel across the sideline on an out route and make no attempt to keep their feet in bounds. Not anymore. All in all, the gameplay overall is as realistic as it has ever been. Another slight change that doesn’t impact the game much is that kicking has gone back to a three button press method instead of using the analog stick. I like it. I’ve found I like to take a celebratory drink when I score a touchdown, so this lets me kick the PAT and kickoff with one hand. Not important, just something I do.
Play CallingThe play calling has been streamlined as well with the GameFlow system. You can now have plays automatically called by the "coach" so you can just play and not worry about strategy and play calling. The play calls are usually pretty good as they are based on field position, game score and time, down and distance, player skill, historical tendencies, etc. Before each play you’ll have two options GameFlow with the A button or entering the manual play selection screen with the X button. Using GameFlow not only has the benefit of making the game simpler for people that aren’t familiar with the hundreds of football plays and when to use them, but it also dramatically speeds up the game. Instead of taking close to an hour to play a game with 5 minute quarters, you can finish a game in closer to 30 minutes now, which is pretty incredible. Another change has seen the pre snap adjustments and settings (changing hot routes, adjusting coverages, etc.) condensed into the d pad in the newly dubbed "Strategy Pad" system. This has raised the ire of hardcore Madden fans who didn’t want to learn a new set of controls. Personally, I didn’t have any problems using the Strategy Pad and don’t really think most players (particularly casual fans) bothered with these controls anyway. Nevertheless, EA has announced it will patch the old pre snap control options into the game at some point after launch so whether you love the Strategy Pad, hate it, or don’t know enough to care either way, everyone will be happy.
Graphically, Madden NFL 11 is a great looking game. The menus are nice and clean and easy to follow and the on field action is remarkably realistic. The players and field and stadiums look great, of course, but other things like camera angles and cuts to the fans and players on the sideline are just like what we see on TV. There are also tons of team and player specific animations. Nothing beats watching Brett Favre run down the field after a TD so he can tackle his teammates. Gus Johnson adds a lot of excitement that has been missing from the commentary, but he and analyst Chris Collinsworth tend to either fall behind the action or just plain react the wrong way to the on field action. You can tell Johnson’s comments are pieced together from multiple sound bytes because he’ll be super excited for half a sentence and then incredibly bland and blase for the rest of it. At least the commentary isn’t annoying and obnoxious, so I can’t complain too much. One great aspect of the sound is specific chants and fight songs from the fans and stadium specific audio cues. You’ll hear the viking horn for every Vikings home game first down, for example.
Bottom Line
The bottom line is that Madden NFL 11 is a great game of football. It plays amazingly well, is accessible, and offers plenty of features to keep you busy. The presentation is stellar as well. I highly recommend it for a purchase. Brandon Marshall Women Jersey

Madden NFL 11 gets pretty much everything wrong. This is BY FAR the worst madden installment I have ever played. But first, what has been fixed and improved in the game are the graphics and the catching has been completely fixed. You can actually pass to the sideline or back of the endzone. That is about all that is good with the game. The first thing that jumps out at me is the new announcer. I would probably kill someone to get John Madden back. Gus Johnson is easily the worst announcer that could have been picked and makes me want to punch my tv. Luckily you can turn off his annoying voice. The second problem I encountered when playing this game is that the defense is garbage. You might as well be in practice made and just lob it up there. Unless you’re running. Now that the sprint has been removed you can no longer use your lead blockers, but now out sprint them into the waiting arms of the outside linebacker. Then there is the play calling. THANK GOD you can turn this off. The play calling is absolutely atrocious. I begin to wonder if whatever power calling the plays has ever watched a football game. I can’t tell you how many times my team would go shotgun with an empty backfield on third and one. You can always audible out to a run, but then your running back is a wide receiver. Audibles have been redone but luckily have been patched to the old system. Bottom line; don’t waste your money on this garbage, you’re better off buying a real football and playing catch with your friends. At least then you can enjoy football.
